White Hart Roundabout closure

The attached letter from Swindon Borough Council gives details of the partial closure of the White Hart roundabout (the junction of the A420 and the A419 dual carriageway).

White Hart

In summary, the roundabout will be partially closed from Monday 16 August for twelve weeks.  There will still be access from the A420 to join the A419 heading South (towards the M4) and from the southbound A419 to join the A420 heading East.

There will be significant traffic congestion heading towards Swindon; we’ve asked that detour signs are posted well ahead of the Bourton turning on the A420 to protect against rat-running through the village.
