Welcome to the Bourton village website

Bourton is small, quiet and picturesque village lying at the very Western end of the Vale of the White Horse in Oxfordshire.  With a population of less than 400 the village is one of the smallest in the county.  Our church – St James’s – is part of the Shrivenham & Ashbury Benefice, Bourton Club is a thriving social club and the former Baptist Chapel is now our village hall.  

The village has also been home to Pinewood School – a co-educational day and boarding school – since 1946.
