Next Parish Council Meeting
The next Parish Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 1 May at 19:00hrs in the village hall. The agenda is available to view on the village notice board and website and members of the public are very welcome to attend.
A representative of Savills will be attending the meeting to discuss the Parish Council’s response to their application to construct nine dwellings on the Grange Farm site, in Lower Bourton. Savills act as managing agents for Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation, the charity linked the London-based hospitals which owns much of the land in and around Bourton. Their website can be found here. The charity has also disposed of three other sites for housing development – Grange Farm, Home Farm and Lower Field Farm.
The Parish Council’s response to the Grange Farm application highlighted the sustainability of the number of dwellings proposed (nine) and also the lack of investment in the village as a consequence of all the various developments.
