Access to Pinewood facilities

Message from the Headmaster, Pinewood School

Pinewood is happy that the village make use of the pastures it owns and the associated paths that we have created in the planted woodland (along with dog-friendly stiles). The actual playing fields themselves, hard courts, astroturf and adventure playground are however not for general use.

There are public liability considerations, child protection issues and health and safety implications. We also have to factor in the building of the new teaching centre on the old hard courts and its access for construction traffic. We are going to clearly sign footpaths which can be found 100 yards up the drive on the right or by crossing the drive there via the public footpath leading on from the village hall. Access to the woodland can also be made at via Pot Lid lane and also by Cleyfield Manor.

We would really value the village community respecting the privacy of the grounds and using only woodland and agricultural areas. Thank you for your cooperation.
