West Vale Mobility (WVM) – an update

Villagers may recall that WVM was set up earlier in the year as a charity to operate a wheelchair accessible vehicle for taking local residents – those living in Shrivenham, Bourton, Watchfield, Longcot and Ashbury – to and from healthcare and wellbeing appointments.  It’s targeted initially at patients of Elm Tree surgery traveling to Great Western Hospital, until the wider needs and demand have been established.

The vehicle has now been delivered but the charity is still looking for volunteer drivers to join the team.  No particular driving experience is required, and all volunteers will be provided with training.  The charity is also looking for volunteers to sign up to the managing committee.

Please contact WVM at info.westvalemobility@gmail.com if you’re able to help.
