Appeal to find wanted man – Ashbury, Oxfordshire


We are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who is wanted in connection with an assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in Ashbury, Oxfordshire.

Cameron O’Malley-Richardson, aged 28, of no fixed abode, is being sought in connection with a violent assault in Wixes Piece at around 1am on 5 August.

An altercation took place and the victim, a man in his thirties, was stabbed several times in the head with a broken wine glass. The victim sustained serious injuries that required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

O’Malley-Richardson is around 5ft 7ins tall and of slim build. He has shoulder-length, dark brown hair and a patchy beard. He is likely to be wearing grey bottoms and a navy blue hooded-sweatshirt.

He is known to frequent supermarkets in Faringdon, and has links to Amesbury, Ashbury and Swindon. He is likely to be sleeping rough in a red tent.
