New Eastern Villages

Drop-in events

The New Eastern Villages (NEV) is one of the largest greenfield developments in the country, comprising about 8,000 homes, 40 hectares of employment space, a new secondary school and primary schools, transport improvements, and retail, health, community and leisure facilities.

Swindon Borough Council will be holding ‘drop in’ events for people to be able to find out more about the following proposed transport schemes for the New Eastern Villages:

·         White Hart Junction improvements

·         A420 Gablecross Junction improvements

·         Nythe Road and Piccadilly Roundabout improvements

·         Southern Connector Road

The drop-in events will held as follows:


– Saturday 20 July 2019 at Grange Leisure Main Hall, Grange Drive, SN3 4JY – 9am to 12.30pm
– Wednesday 24 July 2019 at Coleview Community Centre, Towcester Rd, SN3 4AS – 1.30pm to 6.30pm
– Thursday 25 July 2019 at Hooper’s Field Hall, Rotten Row, Wanborough, SN4 0AN – 3pm to 8pm
