Defibrillator now back in service

The village defibrillator – located on the front wall of the village hall – is back in service after the replacement of some critical parts.

Villagers should be aware that the defibrillator mounted on the front wall of the village hall is currently out of service due to water damage.

The manufacturers have been contacted and there will be another post once it’s back up and running.

Annual Assembly – Tuesday 28 May

Parishioners are invited to attend the Village Hall AGM on Tuesday 28 May at 7.00 pm in the village hall followed by the Annual Parish Assembly  at 7.30 pm.  Do come along to hear what has been happening during the past year.

Lost tablecloths!

Do you have the village hall’s tablecloths?

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the tablecloths from the village hall? If you have them please drop them back at the hall or bring them on the morning of Sunday 26 May, for the start of the boundary walk.

As a reminder, the boundary walk starts from the pin at 09:00 on Sunday 26 May.

Advance notice of wedding reception

There will be a wedding reception in the village hall this Saturday, 15 September. This is for a local couple who will be arriving about 2.30 and the reception will be finishing at 10.30 pm.
Parked cars should not be a problem as most guests will be arriving by coach, dropping off at the bottom of the lane to the village hall. Pinewood have also kindly agreed to allow use of their parking.
